The corridor that crosses the building splits the roof and creates a constant light and vendilation tool.

The plot is located on the borders of the village of Maroneia. A traditional, mountainous settlement on the outskirts of Ismaros overlooking the sea. Our main concern from the beginning was to manage to respect the traditional character of the area, to respect the mountain and its environment by creating a building that harmonizes with it. Main source of inspiration are the animal farms of the area. These ephemeral structures that despite the hardness of the material they are made of (sheet metal) manage to give us the impression that they are one with nature. A dose of futuristic element but at the same time amazingly humble. Inside, we take advantage of the height of the roof to create high spaces with a bioclimatic logic. Low courtyards at the "basement" level provide lighting and ventilation throughout the building by creating cooling columns. A transversal corridor that penetrates the building along its entire length functions as a link between all areas and also as the backbone of the warm air expansion system with skylights along its entire length. The surrounding space is simple with earthy materials and the absolutely necessary uses in order to preserve as much surface as possible for planting.
